I don't usually love Japanese food, but we came here and I swear everything we got was top notch. The sushi/seafood is super fresh, plates are beautifully presented and service was attentive. The restaurant was spacious, clean and elegant. It was completely full for lunch and I can see why. Definitely try if you are in the area and you can walk the shops at the fountain afterward.

Food is reasonably priced. Miso soup is AMAZING. Just ordered a bento box for lunch. CA roll has the imitation crab intact. Busy for a Friday afternoon, 20 minutes wait.

Whenever I come back into California, we left in 2018, I always make it a point to get to my favorite Japanese restaurant here, Mikuni's. The service has always been impeccable and rivals five star service whenever I've been there. Ambience is always refreshing, comfortable, and really welcomes you to your dining experience. I have so many favorites that I cannot limit my meal to just one or two items. I almost always get the bowl of TanTan Men Ramen, the BBQ White tuna with two sauces, and many other rolls. The fish used is always 100% top-notch fresh Fish. I swear it's as if it's right off the boat. I usually will get the BBQ White tuna and it has never disappointed. It's hot and fresh and the grill flavor is amazing. I always use both sauces to get the maximum impact. Next, I always get the flaming shrooms, and these too are always fresh and packed with flavor. I love that sensation of biting into the mushroom, usually piping hot, and then the crab center filling just oozes out and never disappoints. I usually order a Fairoaks roll or something like that to accompany and they're always nice and crunchy with a nice drizzle of sauce on the top. And now the Ramen. The Ramen is exceptionally hot, as it should be, and as is the custom in Japan. The broth has simmered for hours developing this almost sweet rich, meaty flavor. It's not chicken, it's not pork, it's not beef, but it's a combination of all of it. It has this dash of sesame and a great umami flavor. Everything is cooked to perfection and the noodles are superb. Just the right, chewiness and flavor. It's a must. Do not pass up Mikunis, you'll not regret it.

I'm not a sushi fan even though I've tried it multiple times. I also have an allergy to soy and wheat so it's difficult to find any Asian cuisine that I can eat. That being said, Ive previously had a manager at another location review their menu with their chefs and help me find dishes I can not only eat, but love! I always order the bbq tuna appetizer with sriracha and their ginger pork dish! The service is usually great at all of their locations and everyone I know always loves the sushi no matter the location, but sometimes the bbq tuna has been subpar. Tonight it was cooked perfectly and the ginger pork was delightful as usual! The service was outstanding thanks to Jovanny & Zoey. Between the two of them our party of almost 48 people was always taken care of promptly with any request, they were patient, respectful and SO friendly! 10/10 customer service and 10/10 food which is not an easy task when crafting that much food and serving so many people. This Mikuni in particular is a bit more upscale than other locations so it makes a nice environment for a date night where you'd want to dress up a bit or a professional event like we had.

Solid sushi spot if you're in this area. Love their zig zag rolls and aburi nigiri. Portions are large, so you'll be quite full after ordering a few things.

Mikuni always hits the spot. I have my go to favorites but my co-worker said she wanted to pick for me and I obliged. When we arrived at 1:50 (time plays a roll here) we were sat immediately. Since my friend already knew what she wanted we didn't even look at the menu and ordered when our waitress arrived to take our drink orders. We got 2 orders of each pepperfin tuna, bbq albacore, tuna sliders #1 and tuna sliders #2. Don't judge on the quantity lol we were hungry! Everything was bomb, as usual. The bbq albacore had a few pieces that were dry and over cooked but there's normally at least 1 piece out of the bunch. While letting our food digest, I was browsing their pictures on Yelp and noticed they had a happy hour menu that started at 2. Here is when the timestamps come in, when we got the bill we were charged full price. We asked about happy hour and she said we ordered at 1:57 and it couldn't be honored. I get we made the mistake of not looking at the menu to notice the happy hour, but if we order and you know an item we got is on that menu why not say hey, if you wait 3 minutes to put in your order, you can catch the happy hour price. Overall, food was great and service was good with the exception of the 3 minute gap in happy hour pricing.

I keep coming back to this Mikuni for many years. Sushi (nigiri) quality is really good. I've been eating sushi at many places but Mikuni is always one of my most favorite sushi place, for its quality, price and services. This place is pretty big inside, but food comes fairly quickly. Our server was very attentive and kept coming back to refill waters, take more orders and brink food promptly. We really liked the appetizer called "Scallop Symphony". Seared scallops, topped with crab meat and crispy garlic - all nested on top of a small roll of rice. Look like a little mushrooms and so delicious!

My husband and I came in for an early birthday celebration for myself! Despite it seeming busy, they were able to seat the two of us right away. Our server was very attentive and immediately got us waters. We ordered the BBQ tuna to start with both sauces on the side. We ordered two drinks off their happy hour menu which made them each $11.00. The Yuzu Margarita was overwhelmingly lemony and the Key Lime Motto tasted really artificial. I wouldn't get these drinks again and will try something different next time. The two rolls we got were delicious!

We like to sit at the bar as the bartenders are very nice and have good suggestions. The vibe is always friendly. It is always hard to decide what to have because they have an amazing menu. They have a good selection of cocktails with different flavors. We like to start with an appetizer of usually edamame or BBQ Tuna. Always need a roll or two.

Celebrated my mother's birthday. Party of 11 (6 adults + 4 kids + 1 newborn) We came in around 2pm and waited for a bit. We asked for a menu as we waited so we knew what to order. I like how their lunch special ends at 4pm. Usually lunch specials end at 2 or 3pm. I ordered a charashi bowl ($25). Fresh fish and a good amount of rice underneath. I enjoyed every bite with my lychee shock. My husband also ordered a charashi bowl and he got full. We were hungry. My 2 kids (5 yo + 2yo) shared a chicken teriyaki kitchen plate. The portion size was more than enough for them. They enjoyed using chopsticks with the chopstick helper that the restaurant provides. We even took the chopstick helpers home. Since it was my mom's birthday, she spun the wheel and won a hat. For dessert, we walked around and got ice cream. A good way to end a yummy meal.
